I really didn't make one, but I'm breaking it anyway. It's been over two months since I posted anything. Long time.
So yeah. Stuff that's happening:
Law: If you haven't heard, and it's entirely likely that you haven't, I'm going to be a lawyer. Yes, this is the second time I've said that on here (at least). But this time it's for real. I've made up my mind strongly and have taken substantial steps to make sure that I don't change my mind again. It's a good decision and I'm going to stick to it. Among those steps are telling my wife that I'm not going to change my mind. To me, that's the strongest reason not to change my mind. But, there are other things as well.
LSAT: related to the last item, naturally, the LSAT is consuming most of my "free" time right now. It's a bear of a test. I've taken about 7 practices so far. High (so far) is 164 (~92nd percentile), low was 156 (~70th, :-P, but it was taken very late in the evening...). I've got a long way to go, the test is December 1, but I am seeing some improvement. My aim (honestly) is 170+ (98th). I really think I can get there.
Jubilee: For those who read my wife's LJ, you know that she's cuter than all the other babies in the world. Don't argue; I don't care how cute you think your kid is. Mine is cuter. She's also smart. Kazoo playing, learning to crawl before 6 months, stand at 6.5 months, and learning how to bite dad for sticking his finger in her mouth on Sunday... yup. She's a smart kid.
Volleyball: I've played this more lately because our pastor purchased a volleyball net (a fairly good one, too) and has been setting up games. It's been a lot of fun.
Ankles: My ankles are doing better. I was worried I might have to have reconstructive surgery, but the doctor telling me that motivated me to do ankle exercises recommended by my physical therapist father-in-law. They seem to be a ton stronger and better in general. I still can't jog due to a stupid tendon that gets inflamed in my right foot, but I no longer have stabbing pain from minor things like stepping to the right, and my ankles don't give way so easy.
Rita: As wonderful as ever. I'd say that I don't deserve her, and I don't, but she really is amazingly suited to be my wife. How I got her still amazes me. God is good.
That's about it!

The last of my Ebay sells should ship out today. I was waiting on it to clear in Paypal before shipping. It finally did, so I shall send it today. I listed everything the Saturday before last. All told, I think I made about $235 selling several LSAT books, a pair of too-small Birkenstocks, and several homeschool books that Rita's Mom (Mrs_tom) gave me to sell. The homeschool books made the most, for sure. They were free for me and sold for a combined total of $140! Thanks again Mom [in-law]. I still have a few other things to sell. I should probably list them on Saturday again. More shoes, a few more LSAT things, a MCAT book that I bought by mistake (already had a later edition--oops), and a few odds and ends that might be worth my while to sell. I figure that something has to be worth at least five dollars to warrant selling on ebay. Otherwise, it isn't worth the trouble of listing, shipping, etc.
Volleyball was fun last night. Granted, I can't play as long because I get off at 6 and it's only light out until 7:15 or so, but it was still a blast. We played our last game 'til about 7:30...I'd say that the majority of the points scored were due to not being able to track the ball because of the lack of light. But it was still fun.
Oh! In other news, one of the guys that has attended our church for a while, played volleyball with us, is a student from India, and has been a Hindu his entire life has become a Christian. It's fantastic. We've been hoping and praying that he would repent and turn to Christ for quite a while now, and God has answered our prayers. I'm not sure I've ever been more happy about a guy coming to Christ. I think it's because he was a friend prior to his conversion, and I haven't had many of those that actually did turn. It's a truly glorious thing to see someone go from darkness to light, to see him singing the Nicene Creed as a believer, to see him desiring the Supper, to know that he will soon be baptized... Praise Jesus our Savior! It's wonderful.
I'm studying for the precalculus CLEP right now. No, I don't need it for my degree, because I've already applied for graduation, but precalc is a prerequisite for just about any chemistry or physics course. So, I must do it. I needed a refresher in algebra and all anyway, so it's all good. Besides, I've always wanted to know how trigonometry works, so it'll be interesting, I'm sure.
And now, I will actually post a post instead of just writing it (as I've been doing a lot of lately).

I'm tired. Being busy does that to you.
I applied for graduation last week. I should be able to list it on my resume soon. And I'll be a college grad. Woohoo!
Several of us from church have been playing a lot volleyball recently. It's fun to see everyone getting better. Tonight, it was great the first game... But the teams I was on ended up three wins, three losses. But they were all competitive with good rallies. It was a blast.
Then Rita and I went walking. That was good, too.
I'm studying chemistry. It's honestly very interesting stuff. I'm hoping to take the CLEP for it and maybe take organic next fall. Or, if I'm optimistic, maybe I can finish up with chemistry soon (and take and pass the CLEP), study hard my organic chemistry now, and take organic chemistry II beginning in the spring. That's what I'm secretly going for. Don't tell anyone! ;-)
And for that studying, I bought some audio CD's recently that I'm really enjoying. It's great to be able to "study" while driving to and from work. They're kind of dorky, because they tell a lot of corny jokes, but it's OK, because I'm learning and it's not unbearable.
I love tea. I really do. I'm addicted, methinks.
I need a haircut.
It's hard not to think about the way that you write when you talked about the way that you write earlier in the evening. I said that I had not posted a "real" post in a while. Rita said, "ah, a longish one, eh?" I tend to write in a much more serious manner than I act around her and people I'm familiar with, while she tends to be more like she is around me and those she's familiar with (i.e., more silly). Probably says something about each of us.
OK, I think that's enough. Nighty-night, chillins.
